Along the way there have been many successes and several challenges that one would find with any major rewrite of such a comprehensive software package. Here are a few things to pay special attention to:

• Vision 6 is not compatible with any other version of Vision and cannot be installed side-by-side. That means it needs its own environment to be installed and tested.
• Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is utilized as the new Report Management platform. Any Actuate reports will need to be rewritten.
• A thorough review of your existing hardware specification against Deltek's new recommendations for capability and performance should be performed.
• Microsoft® SQL 2008 Reporting Services is strongly recommended, as a result of print formatting and data export performance issues with Microsoft® SQL 2005 Reporting Services.

• Strategize on deployment options to transition 5.1 to 6.1 SP4
• Identify server solutions and customized reporting needs
• Map out the steps to transition to 6.1

30 Days of Hosting and Test Conversion to Vision 6.1 SP4
Acumen Advisors' will convert your data to Vision 6.1 SP4, provide a test environment, and host your information for 30 days. Establish a test environment to:

• Allow users to test and review the latest features against your own data
• Review existing business processes to maximize Vision functionality and incorporate industry best practices
• Maintain your current production environment while allowing an environment to take the necessary steps to move to 6.1

Consulting Services
Acumen Advisors' application consultants will:

• Train on new features related to usability and reporting including:
  - Enhancements to workflows, screen designer, and reporting options
  - New finance features (transaction center approval, three part check, etc.)
  - Grid views in the info centers (grouping, expand/collapse, exporting to excel)
• Provide guidance and a checklist of key items to review in your test environment
• Identify if saved setting services can eliminate manual recreation (additional fee for this service will apply)

Additional services may apply for technical and consulting services if services for each area require more than 2 hours.
